SUBJECT: Construction Industry Safety Excellence (CISE) Awards
CAWP is announcing the Construction Industry Safety Excellence (CISE) Awards program. The CISE Awards program recognizes safety performance of companies over a sustained time period. The Awards program was established by the Construction Users Roundtable (CURT) to emphasis CURT’s commitment to promoting safe construction as a key component of cost effective project delivery.
Award Categories:
Standard Industrial Code (SIC) Code Groups:
- SIC 15 - Building Construction: General Contractors
- SIC 16 - Heavy Construction other than Building Construction Contractors
- SIC 17 – Construction Special Trades Contractors
Awards will be presented in these man-hour categories for each of the SIC Groups:
- Up to 100,000 man-hours worked annually
- 100,001 to 500,000 man-hours worked annually
- 500,001 to 2 million man-hours worked annually
- > 2 million man-hours worked annually
How to Enter:
-Download an application and related instructions at www.agc.org/cise.
-Submit the completed application by July 1st, 2006 to: AGC of America

Selection Process:
The AGC will nominate and submit one contractor application for each SIC Code in each size category. The CURT Awards Panel will review and evaluate all applications and decide the winners. The participants and recipients of the CISE Awards will be announced at the CURT Annual National Construction Owners Conference on November 13-15, 2006.
