SUBJECT:     AGC Construction Safety Excellence Awards

AGC’s annual Construction Safety Excellence Awards (CSEA) program recognizes companies who have developed and implemented excellent safety programs achieved through management commitment, employee training and program innovation. The Constructors Association is urging Members to apply for this prestigious award.

Award Categories:
• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place division Awards: Applicants can compete in one of the following divisions: Heavy, Highway, Municipal, Building, or Specialty Contractor.
• Grand Award: Recipient will be selected from the 1st Place Award winners representing each category. This will decide the “Best of the Best” in the 2007 CSEA program.
• Superintendent Award: Each finalist can nominate a superintendent who exemplifies an outstanding commitment to safety.

How to Enter:
1. To download an application click here or go to www.cawp.org.  If you cannot download the application, call CAWP to have one faxed to your office.
2. Submit the completed application by November 13th, 2006 to Constructors Association.

Selection Process:
The CAWP Safety Committee will nominate finalists and will submit those applications to be judged by AGC’s Safety Committee (finalists will need to provide a $200 entry fee). Winners will be announced at the 2007 AGC National Convention in San Antonio, TX in March of 2007.
