Carpenters - Accepting Applications every Wednesday at Neville Island Training Center 9 AM - 3 PM Heavy & Highway Carpenters build and assemble forms for concrete structures such as bridges, retaining walls, tunnels, subways, drainage structures, hydro-electric developments, locks, dams and sewage treatment projects. Cement Masons - Cement Masons smooth and finish exposed concrete surfaces on projects such as sidewalks, driveways and roads.
Laborers - Accepting Applications NOW Laborers are involved with most phases of the construction industry. They work with scaffolding, soil compaction, transit and level, tranching and shoring, traffic control, air tool operation and many other assigned tasks.
Operating Engineers- Accepting Applications January 21- February 1, 2008 Operating Engineers operate, maintain and repair heavy construction equipment, such as cranes, backhoes, loaders, scrapers and bulldozers, for use in the construction of roads, dams and bridges.
