RE:             Fall Protection ‘Boot Camp’ Seminar

CAWP is holding a half-day Fall Protection ‘Boot Camp’ Seminar for supervisors, foreman, engineers, and safety personnel to prevent accidents and to ensure compliance with OSHA laws. This seminar will benefit your company by reducing the potential for falls, preventing accidents, detecting inadequate fall protection systems, and avoiding costly violations. Industry specialists from Mine Safety Appliances (MSA) will conduct the seminar.

DATE/TIME:	Thursday, March 15, 2007 8 AM – 12 PM
LOCATION:	Butler County Community College, Butler, PA 16003 (directions will be provided)
TOPICS:	* Review of Applicable, Industry-Related Standards (OSHA & ANSI standards)
	* Fall Hazard Recognition
	* Basic Fall Prevention and Protection Principles
	* Selection, Application, and Use of Fall Protection Systems (test equipment in a hands-on learning environment)
	* Fall Rescue Demonstration (“live” demonstration of fall rescue procedures)
	* Question and Answer Session (ask now…don’t wait until an accident occurs)
