SUBJECT: Flagger Train-The-Trainer Course
IF YOUR PERSONNEL ATTENDED FLAGGER TRAINING IN 2004… NOW IS THE TIME FOR RE-TRAINING DUE TO A GREAT DEMAND – CAWP ADDED THIS SECOND COURSE |
CAWP is offering training to assist contractors in complying with PennDOT’s mandatory Flagger Training specifications which says flaggers and flagger trainers must be re-trained every three years to comply with PENNDOT guidelines.
WHO MUST BE TRAINED
PennDOT specifications require that all flaggers or any other contractor personnel who will be performing flagging duties to successfully complete a flagger training course.
WHAT WILL BE TAUGHT
The APC/PennDOT Flagger Train-the-Trainer course will cover fundamental principles of work zone traffic control, buffer space, visibility to approaching drivers, nighttime flagging, in addition to teaching skills and adult learning. Students must also pass a written test.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
- Wallet-sized cards verifying course completion;
- CD containing the Presentation used to teach flagging procedures to employees; and
