CAWP Pirates Baseball Day Hosted by Young Constructors Forum (YCF)

On Sunday, July 19, 2009, CAWP construction industry professionals and their families gathered for the CAWP Pirates Baseball Day hosted by the Young Constructors Forum (YCF) for a tailgate picnic and afternoon ballgame at PNC Park. Event attendees joined together prior to the game for a picnic lunch, sponsored by CAWP Associate member One Call Rentals. The parking lot for the tailgate picnic was donated by CAWP Associate member George L. Wilson Company, Inc. Sponsorship for the group tickets was provided by CAWP contractor members IA Construction Corporation and Mashuda Corporation. The event gift – a Pirates baseball hat – was sponsored by Swank Associated Companies, Inc., and The Lane Construction Corporation. Those attending also were eligible for raffle prizes presented during the tailgate portion of the day. Prizes included three four-packs of tickets to future Pirates baseball games and an autographed baseball signed by Pirates pitcher Jeff Karstens. After lunch and raffle drawings, attendees headed into the stands at the ballpark to watch the Pirates take on the San Francisco Giants.
