Infrastructure Summit: The State of the Infrastructure System in the Nation and the Commonwealth

Hosted by History Channel’s Inspector America, Timothy Galarnyk - REGISTRATION

America’s infrastructure is failing. Roads, bridges, water and sewage systems, dams and levees across the country are crumbling. The infrastructure system that helped the nation and the Commonwealth prosper has been stretched to the limit, and is unable to safely meet the needs of increased usage over the years since it was built. It took 150 years to build the nation’s infrastructure, and now it will cost an estimated $22 trillion to repair it.

Timothy Galarnyk, an infrastructure safety inspector with over 35 years of experience, hosts "INSPECTOR AMERICA", a new one-hour series airing Sundays at 10 p.m. EST on HISTORY. Galarnyk’s initial sweep takes him to six American locations that have infrastructure challenges. He uses the tools of his trade to evaluate the structures, gauge dangers and offer opinions on how to deal with it. Galarnyk also highlights the good news and positive projects in the area. Join CAWP when Mr. Galarnyk travels to western Pennsylvania to speak with CAWP members about the state of the infrastructure system in Pennsylvania and across the nation.
