CAWP Hosts University of Pittsburgh Student Luncheon

The Constructors Association hosted the University of Pittsburgh American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) student chapter for a luncheon on December 7, 2010. The luncheon was a great opportunity for contractors to show industry support for University of Pittsburgh civil engineering students considering a career in the heavy/highway construction industry.

Prior to lunch, 21 Pitt students toured the North Shore Connector Tunnel and the Gateway Station projects. Over 18 CAWP Contractor Members had an opportunity to meet the University of Pittsburgh ASCE student chapter and discuss career opportunities in the heavy/highway construction industry as well as hand out company promotional and recruitment brochures.
