Volunteers Needed for CAWP CLC’S Rebuilding Together Pittsburgh Day on Saturday, April 30
The Constructors Leadership Council or CLC (formerly the Young Constructors Forum) is volunteering for Rebuilding Together Pittsburgh to provide life-safety improvements to a home in Allegheny County on
Saturday, April 30, 2011.
The CLC is looking for volunteers to perform the various tasks; typically consisting of replacing doors, building ramps and handrails, painting, install life safety equipment, such as smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and fire extinguishers, general clean up and yard work.
There is no cost to participate, as funds have been donated to cover the cost of materials. The CAWP CLC is requesting volunteers (co-workers, friends, etc.) to donate their hard work and time for a good cause. This year’s home is located in McKees Rocks. Volunteers are asked to arrive at 8:00 a.m. Additional details will be provided to volunteers as soon as it becomes available.
If you are interested in participating in the CAWP CLC Rebuilding Together Day, email jasonk@cawp.org or samiller@laneconstruct.com by April 25, 2011.
If you have any questions, please contact Jason at the Association office at (412) 343-8000 or Sarah Miller at Lane Construction at (412) 838-0251.
The goals of the CAWP CLC are to be an open forum to exchange ideas, to be an entry vehicle into CAWP to promote new member involvement, to foster a strong network among peers, and to discuss issues and provide feedback to CAWP. If you know of anyone in your company who would benefit from belonging to the CLC, invite them to participate in the Rebuilding Together Day.
