Work Zone Awareness Week Ebensburg Press Event

On Monday, April 26, CAWP and PennDOT held a Press Event in Ebensburg to highlight the importance of Workzone Awareness Week. The event was held at the location of one of the billboards designed by CAWP utilizing winning entries of the Kids Construction Safety Calendar. The billboard displayed the illustration of James Au, grandson of James Au of Balfour Beatty Infrastructure, Inc., and was located near Route 422. Members of PennDOT District 9, the Ebensburg police, and several media outlets were in attendance. The story was featured on WJAC (Johnstown), and will be featured in the Tribune Democrat and Mainline News. Photos from the event will also be utilized on the DriveSafePA.org website.

The event was designed to draw attention to the billboards, with locations on the Parkways East, West, and North, Route 56, Route 422, and I-70, as well as draw attention to the importance of Workzone Awareness Week.
