CAWP Member’s Comments featured in Wall Street Journal

Last week, the front page of the Wall Street Journal included a story noting that highway contractors face layoffs and uncertain futures because Congress has yet to act on the overdue six-year surface transportation bill. The story was generated by the AGC and featured several of its members who explained that while the stimulus funds for highways were helpful, it would not be enough to help the industry unless Congress acts quickly on the next surface transportation bill. The article, which included a quote from CAWP Member John McCaskie of Swank Associated Companies, was written on the eve of President Obama’s Jobs Summit.
