Pennsylvanians Willing to Spend Money to Fix Roads
In a poll conducted by the Transportation Construction Industries (TCI) coalition, 58 percent of Pennsylvanians said they would be willing to pay at least an additional $10 per month for “improving safety and relieving congestion on our highways.” The numbers grow to 70 percent if the amount is lowered to $5 per month.
TCI, which was founded by the Associated Pennsylvania Constructors (APC), is a coalition of contractors, design firms and associations that comprise the highway construction industry.
