SUBJECT:    OSHA 502 Update for Construction Industry Outreach Trainers

To assist contractors in maintaining authorization to teach OSHA 10 and 30 hour safety training courses to their own workforces, CAWP has partnered with the West Virginia University Safety and Health Extension to provide an OSHA 502 course on April 6-8, 2010.

The OSHA 502 is a three-day course to maintain your status as an authorized trainer for the 10- and 30- hour construction safety classes.  An update course must be taken every four (4) years; valid trainer card is required.  1.7 CEU’s credits to be assessed.

Prerequisite: OSHA Course #500 Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry or OSHA 502 within the last four years.  

LOCATION:  CAWP – 1201 Banksville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15216    

DATE / TIME:  April 6 - 8, 2010     8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

COST:  Course fees will be on a sliding scale depending on the total number of attendees.  
For example, if 10 people register, then the cost will be $800 per person, if 15 people register, the cost will be $555 per person.  The cost will include course manuals, lunches, and certificates.  Note:  CAWP needs a minimum of ten confirmed attendees or the course may be canceled.
