SUBJECT: Scheduling Course
The Heavy and Highway Industry Advancement Program (H2AP) is pleased to offer a scheduling course that will assist your personnel in understanding the important role that planning and scheduling plays in the successful completion of a construction project. Instructing the course is Michael Boyer, who has several years of experience teaching this subject for the AGC Supervisory Training Program and for the U.S. Army. The following personnel would benefit in attending this course: schedulers, superintendants, project managers, project engineers, etc.
Topics of the course include:
- Introduction to planning and scheduling
- Preparing the project plan
- Communicating the plan
- The critical path
- Computer use in scheduling
- Using the schedule on the jobsite
- Updating the construction schedule
- The schedule as documentation
- Using planning and scheduling
