SUBJECT: Pennsylvania One Call Western PA Safety Day
Pennsylvania One Call System, Inc. is hosting the Western PA Safety Day to provide safety information to the various industries that work with or around underground utilities. There will be opportunities to learn, network, and gather information from a variety of demonstrations, presentations, and industry exhibitors.
Demonstrations & Presentations:
• Trench box installation
• Soil samplings
• Soft-excavation techniques
• Ground penetrating radar
• Locating and marking exercises
• Trench rescue
• Electricity demonstration
• OSHA update
Sponsors & Exhibitors:
• Equipment rodeos, door prizes, raffle drawings, exhibitor tents, etc.
When: September 23, 2010
Where: Cranberry Township Public Works facility, Ernie Mashuda Dr. in Cranberry, PA (located next to the Cranberry Township Community Park off of Rt. 19)
