SUBJECT:    Mobile Crane Management Seminar

Mobile cranes are among the most dangerous, expensive and important pieces of equipment on a jobsite.  When crane accidents occur, production deadlines and budgets can be impacted.  This popular program can help attendees effectively manage the safety and productivity of mobile cranes. Throughout this program, special emphasis will be placed on topics that have been affected by OSHA’s new crane rule so that attendees understand how these changes will impact their operations.

The program is ideal for project managers, supervisors, estimators, operators, and safety professionals who are responsible for crane selection or management.  Also, continuing education credits (CEUs) may be available for this course, contact CAWP to confirm availability.

Topics will include:
-  Highlights of OSHA’s new crane standard and how these regulations will impact operations
-  Crane fundamentals, types and selection
-  Effects of overloading and load charts
-  Operator qualifications and training   
-  Set-up considerations and operational issues
