Since March 2020, many have been unable to visit, hug or even see their friends and loved ones residing in senior care facilities. In an effort to adhere to current social distancing guidelines, CAWP Associate Member Amerisafe created a “hugging booth” to allow these families some much needed connection.
The hugging booth has received nothing but positive feedback. “Pretty much the unanimous sentiment is that, ‘We’ve been able to call, have window visits and Facetime, but this is the first time I’ve been able to hug my loved one,’” said Del Kubeldis, Amerisafe’s Vice President of Consultations and CAWP Safety & Risk Committee Member.
