Course Topics:
- The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) expanded employee benefits and protections related to COVID-19 by providing a new federal paid sick leave law, an emergency expansion of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and expanded unemployment insurance provisions. FFCRA went into effect on April 1, 2020 and remains in effect through December 31, 2020.
- The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act directed economic assistance for American workers, families, and small businesses, and preserved jobs for American industries.
- Common construction site staffing issues resulting from FFCRA and the CARES Act.
