PASSPORTS

A valid, current passport is required for US Citizens to enter the Bahamas. Currently, there is a lengthy processing time frame for all passport applications and passport renewals.

TRAVEL SAFETY UPDATES

Regulations and restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic are constantly changing. To stay up-to-date on vaccination and testing requirements for entry in to the Bahamas and the return to the US, please visit these sites. ATLANTIS PROTOCOLS

Rest assured your health and well being are top priority here at Atlantis Paradise Island. Added health measures, expanded cleaning protocols, guest room enhancements and more are all in place so you can safely experience our remarkable amenities, activities, dining, and entertainment at the resort, while staying abreast of the most recent travel requirements.

 

AIR TRAVEL RESERVATIONS

Travel to the Bahamas from the USA is possible via most major carriers, with convenient connections. A current passport is required. American citizens do not require visas.

Airport Transfers
Guests can pre-book roundtrip airport transfers when booking their room reservation. Transportation options are available when you book on our website or by calling 1-800ATLANTIS. All transportation operators, inclusive of taxis, must adhere to government mandated safety protocols, including wearing masks at all times and weekly COVID-19 Rapid Antigen testing.

Public Taxi Service
Taxi services are required to display/present their negative COVID-19 Rapid Antigen test valid within seven (7) days of your ride; it will be required to enter the resort.

If the driver cannot display/present a negative COVID-19 Rapid Antigen test, the taxi will not be allowed to enter Atlantis.

The Coral is the perfect Bahamian vacation destination for guests of all ages. The Coral is conveniently located near activities and experiences for adults, children, and everyone in between.

The room rates for the group start at $189.00 per night and are subject to applicable VAT/resort taxes and fees, and $25.00 resort fee per person, per night. Subject to availability, this group rate will be available for 3 days prior to and 3 days following the Annual Meeting event dates.

Get an update on legislation pertinent to the heavy / highway construction industry at the federal level, as well as a discussion on the the highway division of the Associated General Contractors of America.

9:30a.m. to 11:30 a.m. – Team Building session – Build a Boat & Hope it Floats Regatta

Weigh anchor, unfurl the sails, and cast off as your group is divided into teams to design and build a cardboard boat in hopes that it will float across the open water. Creativity counts! So pick your captain, first mate, and deckhands for this fun, unique sea worth adventure. Take home the accolades for best design, best dressed or the most spectacular sinking award! All attendees are welcome to participate in this session.

Wednesday Welcome Reception – Ripples Pool Deck – February 23, 2022 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
The CAWP Annual Meeting will kick-off at the Welcome Reception from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.  Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served while attendees enjoy a relaxing Bahamian evening. Be sure to stop by to visit with your fellow attendees and pick up your registration materials.

The Amazing Atlantis Race – February 24, 2022  from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (Open to all attendees)

This adrenaline-fueled hunt is all about the challenge and the hotel property is your battlefield! Each team must complete individual challenges at locations throughout the resort to position their team to win the overall event. You will find yourself conquering physical tests, mastering teambuilding activities and much more!

WEATHER

The month of February is great for traveling to the Bahamas for people who love the sun, but not extreme heat and humidity.  Daily high temperatures are around 78°F, rarely falling below 72°F or exceeding 83°F. Daily low temperatures are around 67°F, rarely falling below 59°F or exceeding 73°F.

WHAT TO PACK

Resort and sports attire is appropriate throughout the day. Shoes and cover-ups are required in the lobbies and in all indoor restaurants, lounges and public places at all times. Keep in mind that the evenings may get Caribbean chilly*, so pack appropriately.

When dining out on property, here are some easy guidelines on what to wear.

GETTING AROUND

The Atlantis property is quite extensive, with more than 150 acres creating the gorgeous oasis. To make traversing the resort easier, there is a convenientc omplimentary Bus Shuttle Service that operates between The Reef, The Cove, The Royal, Harborside Resort, The Coral, The Beach, Ocean Club and the Ocean Club Golf Course every 30 minutes.
