February 18, 2021 – Silica Competent Person

This course is designed to educate employees who may be designated as competent persons and to review the OSHA Silica standard and its requirements.


February 23, 2021 – Respiratory Protection

This course is designed to educate employees on the OSHA Respiratory Protection standard and its requirements. Attendees will review the methods of selection, use, care, proper fit, and medical clearance of respirators. 


February 24 & 25, 2021 – Construction Supervisory Fundamentals – An Introductory Course for Foremen & Future Construction Supervisors

Construction Supervisory Fundamentals (CSF) is designed specifically to meet the needs of the learner, as well as the construction industry. Developed, updated, and field-tested by contractors for contractors, this course focuses on the knowledge, skills and attitudes required for effective construction supervision. It is especially appropriate for those who are new supervisors or newly promoted foremen, or for anyone who seeks career advancement in leading and directing Construction activities.


March 3, 2021 – Partner4Work On-the-Job Training Reimbursement Webinar

On March 3 at 2:00 p.m., the Association will be holding a webinar to inform contractors how they can be reimbursed 50% for wages paid to On-the-Job-Trainees (OJTs).   Webinar participants will learn how a federal program funded through the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) can financially assist employers who hire and train OJTs.  The webinar will be presented by Partner4Work, a workforce development organization that connects funding, expertise and opportunities for employers, job seekers, agencies, and policymakers to develop a thriving workforce in the Greater Pittsburgh area.


March 4, 2021 – Confined Space Entry – Competent Person

This course is designed to educate employees who may be designated as competent persons and to review the OSHA Confined Space standard and its requirements. Attendees will review testing procedures and equipment to be used; as well as the physical characteristics, configuration, and location of confined spaces on projects.
