PASSPORTS

A valid, current passport is required for US Citizens to enter the Bahamas. Currently, there is a lengthy processing time frame for all passport applications and passport renewals.

AIR TRAVEL RESERVATIONS

Travel to the Bahamas from the USA is possible via most major carriers, with convenient connections. A current passport is required. American citizens do not require visas.

The Coral is the perfect Bahamian vacation destination for guests of all ages. The Coral is conveniently located near activities and experiences for adults, children, and everyone in between.

The room rates for the group start at $259.00 per night and are subject to applicable VAT/resort taxes and fees, and $25.00 resort fee per person, per night. Subject to availability, this group rate will be available for 3 days prior to and 3 days following the Annual Meeting event dates.

10:00 a.m. – KEYNOTE ADDRESS – Making your Message Memorable by Anthony Huey

Studies consistency show that most people only take away about 20% of what you say in a conversation. Are you being strategic in conveying the 20% you want people to remember, or are you just spewing content? This session gives executives, managers and employees on every level techniques and strategies to make their conversations memorable, as well as respond to difficult — even angry — questions from anyone. This is perfect training for those having to answer tough questions who receive them from a variety of audiences everyday.

Key Lessons:

  • Stay in control even when the questions get hard!
  • Control negative body language.
  • Gain “think-time” and avoid the “deer in the headlights” look.
  • Use four specific response techniques to address any question.
  • Stay on-message, no matter the circumstances.

The human brain possesses an incredible amount of power to store and recall information. Unfortunately, most people are never taught how to fully access this ability. In this fun and highly engaging training, attendees will learn unique and exciting methods to increase their memory skills to extraordinary levels. Most importantly, this program teaches participants how to use these concepts in daily life. Instantly recalling people’s names, giving presentations without notes, increased focus, and improved mental organization are just a few of the practical benefits of this intriguing program. Tyler delivers this session in energetic fashion with no notes or PowerPoint to encourage maximum audience participation in order to impart as much value as possible to all who attend.

WEATHER

The month of February is great for traveling to the Bahamas for people who love the sun, but not extreme heat and humidity.  Daily high temperatures are around 78°F, rarely falling below 72°F or exceeding 83°F. Daily low temperatures are around 67°F, rarely falling below 59°F or exceeding 73°F.

WHAT TO PACK

Resort and sports attire is appropriate throughout the day. Shoes and cover-ups are required in the lobbies and in all indoor restaurants, lounges and public places at all times. Keep in mind that the evenings may get Caribbean chilly*, so pack appropriately.

When dining out on property, here are some easy guidelines on what to wear.

GETTING AROUND

The Atlantis property is quite extensive, with more than 150 acres creating the gorgeous oasis. To make traversing the resort easier, there is a convenient complimentary Bus Shuttle Service that operates between The Reef, The Cove, The Royal, Harborside Resort, The Coral, The Beach, Ocean Club and the Ocean Club Golf Course every 30 minutes.
