CAWP/H2AP Safety Banquet

Over 650 safe supervisors were honored at the CAWP / H2AP Safety Banquet on Friday, March 8.  The annual event once again honored accident free supervisors and companies with outstanding safety records in the prior construction season.

Twenty seven CAWP and H2AP contractor members received the 2018 Safety Award for having no lost time accidents and 9 were recognized for having a Lost Workday Incidence Rate at or below the national average for highway construction.

Congratulations to all the award winning companies and supervisors on their successful 2018 season!

During the program, Jason Koss, CAWP Director of Industry Relations, introduced the latest app in the CAWP Arcade – Construction Crane Signals. The free app was designed so that players can practice and improve their knowledge of each of the 22 hand signals, and be evaluated on their performance. Players who get a perfect score will receive a certificate indicating their success in the app.
